Is there dairy in Milky Ways?
Milky Ways are not dairy-free as they contain milk chocolate, skim milk, milk fat, and lactose. Try another brand or type of candy bar if you’re following a dairy-free diet.
Are Milky Ways dairy free?
Yes! Our ice cream is made in-house from a special blend of almond and coconut milk, and our mix-ins are made with non-dairy milks and aquafaba in place of egg whites. Our chewy caramels are made with coconut milk.
What kind of candy is vegan?
Most dark chocolate is vegan, as are popular sweet treats such as Smarties (known as Rockets in Canada), Oreos, Airheads, Jujubes, and Swedish Fish (some Swedish Fish contain beeswax, so be sure to check the label).

While Mars UK has backflipped over the use of animal extracts in some of its chocolate confectionery – including Mars and Snickers bars – ingredients used in its other products, such as Twix, Bounty, Celebrations, Topic and Milky Way, will not be changed, meaning they will continue to be unsuitable for vegetarians.
